Eternal Knock Media LLC ("EKM," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit eternalknockmedia.com or subscribe to our newsletter, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Who we are
Eternal Knock Media LLC is an independent transmedia studio based in New Jersey, United States. You can reach us at hello[at]eternalknockmedia[dot]com with any privacy question, request, or concern.
What we collect
We try to keep this short:
- Newsletter signups. If you join our newsletter, our email provider (Beehiiv) collects your email address and any name you provide.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records basic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps — to operate and secure the site. We don't use this for individual tracking.
- Third-party embeds. Some pages load content from Spotify (music players), Instagram via Behold (the live feed), YouTube, and Google Fonts. When those load, they may set their own cookies and process your data under their privacy policies (linked below).
We do not currently run our own analytics, advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or data sales. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and tell you.
How we use it
- To deliver the newsletter you signed up for.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
- To respond when you email us.
That's it. We don't sell your personal information.
Third parties whose tools we use
We don't share personal data with third parties for their own marketing. We do use the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Netlify — site hosting.
- Beehiiv — newsletter delivery.
- Spotify — embedded music players.
- Behold and Instagram (Meta) — live Instagram feed.
- Google — fonts (Google Fonts), and YouTube embeds where used.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set marketing cookies of our own. The third-party embeds above may set their own cookies when they load — for example, to remember your Spotify login or your Instagram preferences. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, though some embedded features may not work fully if you do.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA). These can include:
- Knowing what personal data we hold about you.
- Requesting a copy, correction, or deletion of it.
- Unsubscribing from our newsletter at any time (every email has a one-click unsubscribe link).
- Opting out of any future data sales (we don't sell data; if that changes, you'll have the right to opt out).
- Where supported, having your browser's Global Privacy Control signal honored as an opt-out.

Children's privacy
Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
International visitors
Our site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and by our service providers in other countries.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — particularly when we add new tools, new services, or begin selling products. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we'll let our newsletter subscribers know.
